Hey to all you Guild Wars 2 fans out there. Finally, here is my best Mesmer PvP Spec for Confusion and Condition Damage. In this video, I have two specs / builds that are very similar in nature but somewhat different from a game play perspective. The first build is more for support and defense, whereas, the second build is best suited for defense with offensive capabilities. I run 30/30/0/0/10 with 2h sword scepter/torch(or pistol)
49% crit 64% crit damage 18.9k hp. 3.1k final ap, about 300-400 condition dmg
Main nuke. 2h sword start, Mirror blade + (swap) Phantasmal Mage, then shatter mind wrack as a finisher to Confusing Images
Phantasmal Defender, Signet of Illusions, and Decoy.
Elite swaps between MI or TW.

What’s even better is that from all I have read and seen, nobody is expecting it… people think thatmesmers will be using their illusions to try to decieve and if that is seen through, then the Mesmer is a failure. On the contrary, I see the illusions as pawns to dcieve them from what I am actually doing. The way I plan on running my memsmer gives only afterthought to the illusions as simple distractions. @Shelbycallaway that is exactly why I love this build. This build goes against human nature…most people just want to see big numbers pop on their screen versus sustained numbers of damage over time. Fortunately, this is the advantage of this build the more DPS you do against me the faster you kill yourself!
This is great… I dont see why more people don’t grasp the process damage for chanter type classes… I’ve had so many laughs over the years while in pvp when people run up to me thinking they are going to whom on me and ehd up killing themselves faster the harder they try to get me
